SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 20
(By Senators Wehrle, Boley, Chafin, Humphreys and Sharpe)
Requesting the governor to issue a proclamation declaring the
first week in June, 1993, as West Virginia Garden Club Week.
Whereas, The clubs and members are involved in projects and
activities which daily reflect their dedication and commitment to
the conservation and enhancement of our natural resources for the
public good; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby commends the garden clubs of the
state of West Virginia for their continued interests in
preserving the beauty of the state's natural resources; and, be
it
Further Resolved, That the Senate hereby requests that the
governor of West Virginia hereby issue a proclamation declaring
the first week in June, 1993, as West Virginia Garden Club Week;
and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to
forward a copy of this resolution to the governor of the state of
West Virginia.
